PHILOSOPHY
I believe in Authentic Pilates "Classico", and I intend to maintain the original "Contrology" method alive, which was created by Joseph Pilates, from whom the name "Pilates" comes from.
It's the art of controlling the mind, the body and the spirit, based around these 6 key principles:
- Concentration
- Centralization
- Precision
- Respiration
- Control
- Fluidity
In the absence of one of the said principles, there cannot be the right results that this method can offer.
Joseph Pilates never registered a brand, so today there are several instances of a type of "Pilates" which is not representative of the original Contrology method.
For this reason i teach "Autentico Pilates by Inelia Garcia, heir of Romana Kryzanowska, student of Joseph Pilates".
I find making people feel good by improving their body through a constructive process which contrology is, invented many years ago, very motivating and challenging.
